The Southerners have been invited to play in the Byron Kelleher Charity 7s on Saturday 11 June at RBSC, which will feature ex-international and top division rugby players transplanted into all competing teams.
Following the rugby 7s, a charity dinner will also be held – all money raised by tickets and sports memorabilia sold will go to the Kamaishi Rugby Club in Japan, who have been devastated by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Tickets for the dinner are 3,800Bt each, or 35,000Bt for a table of 10. The rugby section is pulling together names for tables – get in contact with Darrel if you want to reserve a seat – all players, supporters and general rugby fans in Bangkok are welcome to join the Southerners tables.
