This year Southerners Sports Club celebrates 18 years of success as a sporting & social Club in Bangkok and in true spirit, we would like to invite you all to join us in what is sure to be a day of sporting and social fun – whether you’re participating and playing for the ‘Battle of the Hemisphere’ trophy or cheering everyone on from the sidelines!

Sport Funday: 10am – 1pm @ NIST

Prizegiving & chillout session: 1.30pm – 3.30pm @ AmBar Rooftop terrace, Four Points Sheraton Hotel – POOL PARTY!!

The first games will kick off at 10am – starting with Mens and Womens Touch – to be followed by Mixed Touch.

Following this netball will be played on the indoor courts, while ‘Backyard’ cricket will kick-off on the full field.

Whether you would like to participate in Touch Rugby, Netball, ‘Backyard-style’ Cricket, a combination of all OR to cheer everyone on in true loud raucous fashion – the only catch is that you are encouraged to play in a team representing your hemisphere & to wear clothes that distinguish you between Northern or Southern hemisphere!

Colours

North – wear red/ white/ blue – one or all..

South – gold/ black/ green – one or all..

Prizegiving & Chillout Session @ AmBar -1.30pm – 3.30pm

We hope that you will then join us at AmBar Rooftop Bar & Pool – Four Points Sheraton Hotel from 1.30pm – 3.30pm for the trophy prizegiving, food and drinks!

AmBar rooftop space has been reserved for Southerners – with use of the rooftop pool – so please bring togs and towel for a refreshing dip!

Purchase a 2 hour ‘all you can eat’ BBQ buffet voucher for 550THB at the door (children 250THB for children under 12 years) – inclusive of chicken/ beef burgers, BBQ sausages, range of salads and chunky chips.

Also enjoy the Southerners ‘happy hour’ drinks – buy 2 for 1 on selected beers, wine & cocktails!
