Our good friends the South Africans in Thailand (Jabulani) are hosting their Origins Ball at the Amari Watergate Hotel on Saturday 8th October.
For those who have not attended an ‘Origins Ball’ before, the idea is to dress in your national dress (e.g. Kilt, Sari, Sulu or Toga if you’re a Ancient Greek time traveler).
There will be a top 10 selected for best dressed and a prize for the overall winner. For those less adventurous types, black tie, cocktail/ball dresses are all welcome!
Tickets are Bt 2,800 each, with proceeds going to charity.

NB: For rugby fans, the Ball will not clash with Rugby World Cup matches! Games that day are scheduled for 12.30pm and 2.30pm (Thailand time) – which will give plenty of time to powder the nose before the Ball!
